WD-V**8 not only support **2.1x port access authentication,
 butalso identified a limited number of MAC addresses, 
which canaccess the network from a particular port. The function 
prevents unauthorized data flows to the port and ensure 
network security. Another way is to limit the number of users
 can access the network (MAC address).

Additionally, WD-V**8 offers each port packet classification rules, according
 to the classification rules you can set.
Compatible with ADSL2/ADSL2+
Except for  VDSL2 PTM mode, WD-V**8  can compatible with ADSL2+ If one slave is ADSL2/ADSL2+,
The DSLAM will detect them quickly and adjust the mode to
 ADSL2 mode and connect the terminal devices.
 This function is perfect solution for the distributor updating 
the exsiting ADSL2+ to VDSL2.
