KDF2 filter rod forming machine was
introduced into our country in the middle ***0s, by now some parts
and electrical component have been worn and needed over hauling and
replacing. As some early design defects, the customers are keen to
modify and repair these machines. According to the market demands,
we proudly present the a series of maintenance and renovations for

PLC renovation in electrical control system
realizes the communication between PLC and servo system by adopting
SIMENS S****0 series controller and PROFIBUS-DP
bus.
The blooming rollers, threaded rollers and
glycerin pump of AF2 are drove independently by servo-motor. It is
easy to set parameter according to process requirement, which
ensures the quality of product and reduces
rejects.
Main motor adopts AC frequency conversion
motor instead of DC motor, which overcomes the fluctuation of DC
motor and is convenient for maintenance.
By improving bobbin splicing mechanics and
servo motor, it accomplishes the replacement of the bobbin at a
high speed. The renovation avoids the inferior quality caused by
the change of speed when the bobbin is replaced.
Renovation for glycerin nebulization
system
The glycerin nebulization mechanics is to
send the glycerin into a distribution by a high pressure pump, then
pre-heat the glycerin through 7 heaters, and then be nebulized by 7
nozzles. The granular glycerin is meticulous and even, being spread
over the tow well.
The auto-balance instrument for filter
tow It can keep the surface of the extracted
tow in a height automatically ( including in replacing new &
old tow bag ), which effectively improve the suction resistance of
filter rod. Meanwhile a precise electronic platform scale is
installed on the auto-balance instrument.

Renovation for diameter inspection
system The hardware design of diameter inspection
system introduces high-resolution CCD as photosensitive device and
high-speed SCM to control the output of inspection system. It can
measure the object which diameter is less than *0mm. The precision
is 0.1mm.
Modification for specification of filter
rod We can modify the length and diameter of
filter rods as per the customers’ requirements.
