Description

 Dear Sir,
private Land is about **0 acre with  P.L./M.L.(lime stone) for sell. provide ur mail id we ll" mail u a Land pictures

Please find the notes received from GSI.

" Dewada Area ( *9°*9°':*9°*8°-T.S.No.*6 M/6) : A NERROW BAND OF LIME
STONE THINNELY BEDDED AND MOSTLY ARGILLACEOUS HAVE BEEN NOTICED NEAR
VILLAGE DEVADA IN RAJURA TAHSIL OF CHANDRAPUR DIST.THE AREA IS ABOUT
*6 KM SSE OF CHANDUR AND 4KM NNW OF VILLAGE  DEVADA. LIME STONE HAS ANGEOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT OF LIMESTONE DEPOSIT OF DEVEDA VILLAGE, TAHSIL RAJURA, DISTRICT CHANDRAPUR, MAHARASHTRA

A field trip of Limestone deposit of Devada village, tahsil Rajura, district Chandrapur, Maharashtra State was organized by M/s ……… Group of Companies, Mumbai. Mr. Govind Tiwari, Vice President (Projects), ……… Group mailed me on …. August, ***1, and desired to get my report on feasibility of cement grade limestone of the above area including its probable quality and quantity.

Accordingly, I visited the area along with a team of geologists on *6th August, ***1. Mr. Lalit Mitra, Secretary U.K.A.U.S.S. (Uday Khanij Audyogik Utpadak Sahkari Sanstha Limited), Nagpur and Mr. Firoz Khan, representative of Chairman, U.K.A.U.S.S. accompanied me to the field and shown the area.

The area is approacheable from Nagpur via Jamb, Warora, Chandrapur, Rajura, Sondo to Devada village by National and State Highways ( Please refer road map). The road distance is about **0 kms. from Nagpur upto Devada village. The P.L. applied area is **2 Acres (*8.*4 Hectares) is at a distance of 1 km in the west direction from the village. There are two approach roads from village Devada in south west direction and in the south via village Kirdi to the north west direction. We approached the applied area from both the roads to see the maximum exposure (outcrops) of limestone (Please refer the enclosed photographs).

The nearest Railway Station is Wirur on the South Central Railway main line, is about *0 km. east of the area and can be approached by a fair weather road from Sondo situated on State Highway. The nearest airport is at Nagpur at a distance of about **0 kms.

The area applied for Prospecting licence (P.L.) is included in the Survey of India Toposheet No. *6 M/6 bounded by Latitude *9°*9’ and Longitude *9°*8’ (Please refer the toposheet attached with the report). The area is almost flat with gentle rising in the west direction which ultimately forms N – S trending hill range. The applied area is upto the foot hill of the hills towards west and demarcated in the map (Khasra map of Devada village – Khasra No. 2..., area **2 acres – Notified by the State Government).

The rock types of the area is of Pre-Cambrian age included in Vindhyan System. Penganga series with formations of shales, sandstones, flaggy and massive limestone, local laterites and alluvial soil. The western hills are covered with sandstone, quartzite and shales. In the applied area, the lower horizon and nala courses are covered with grey and white coloured limestone having good percentage of calcium oxide. The upper horizon is covered with shale and occasional laterites.

The limestone of the area has an exposed strike length of about **0 m. and width about **0 m.  The depth continuity has been verified upto a depth of 6.0 meters in nala courses and is likely to continue further upto *0 meters or more. This has to be confirmed by core drilling during prospecting operation after grant of P.L. Based on this observation, the reserves (quantity) of limestone is presumed to be of the order of ****5 million tones, which is sufficient for a medium scale cement plant. However, the remaining area of **2 acres is covered with alluvium and soil, where limestone is not seen exposed, but beneath this there is every possibility of the extension of limestone beds. This needs to be confirmed by drilling only or by deep pits, which could be taken at the time of prospecting operation.

In this area, cement plants of Ambuja, L&T, Manikgarh Cement are already successfully operating on the limestone deposits of same belt and the limestone mines of these plants have gone upto *5 meters depth and has not yet depleted. So, the depth persistence of limestone deposits of this band has already been proved and further mining can be done at deeper level.

The limestone of the applied area is massive, fine to medium grained with criss-cross bands of calcite, which itself has an indication of high grade, cement as well as Blast Furnace grade of limestone. This has been confirmed by India bureau of Mines laboratory test and by Mitra Laboratory tests. Thus, the grade (quality) of limestone confirms to be cement grade limestone. The other constituents are also within the permissible limit.

It is recommended, once the P.L. is granted to go for detailed exploration of the deposit by systematic topographical survey, geographical mapping, sampling, drilling required bore holes and chemical analysis of the samples drawn to establish the extent and depth continuity of the deposit as well as its quality and quantity.

…….. Group and M/s …………. and Associates, Nagpur has purchased the land of applied area (**2 acres) and are in process to acquire the remaining land from the owner, for which they have entered into an agreement with the land lord for a total land of **6 acres. Also, they have planned to make two more P.L. applications covering an area of more than **0 acres, adjoining the present applied area, just after the notification of the State Government, which is now mandatory in Maharashtra State.

Finally, the area seems to be prospective and potential for establishing a cement plant. The capacity of the plant can be decided after detailed exploration of the area. There is good infrastructure of roads, rail links and availability of almost all other raw material especially coal in the close vicinity.

EXPOSED STRIKE LENGTH OF ABOUT **0 M AND WIDTH OF ABOUT **0 MTRS.THE
GENERAL STRIKE IS NW-SE AND DEEP *5°  TO *0°DUE SW.THE BAND OF LIME
STONE EXTENDS UP TO ERGAON (*9°*9°**9°*6°)VILLAGE TOWARDS NW
