Both styles are front cleaned, front return, self-cleaning mechanical screens for the separation and removal of solid wastes from industrial and municipal flow systems, including storm water/CSO installations. Bar screens are normally constructed of stainless steel, but other material types are available. There are no rotating drive parts that come into contact with the liquid.
