Description
OURS-ELVIS is suitable for courses and experiments on measure
instrument, circuit, signal processing, control design,
communication, mechanical electronic, and physical. A prototype
experiment bread board can be inserted into the upper side of the
instrument. The instrument integrates interfaces which is
convenient for user expansion and is ideal for teaching experiments
and circuit prototype designing and testing.
Based on NI LabVIEW graphical development environment, OURS-ELVIS
incorporates instruments, data acquisition and prototype
development, and integrates theory/emulation with low cost design
in PC/prototype platform. The educational platform integrates
twelve different instruments to help the students consolidating
their theoretic knowledge while lowering the cost of laboratory
equipments. The students are capable of learning the usage of
various instruments (e.g. oscilloscope, digital universal meter,
functional generator, power supply, and baud analyzer) in one
platform, each instrument can be configured by mouse click in
Express VI.
The innovation Ethernet interface simplifies lab establishment and
maintenance. The students can use their PCs to execute test and
prototype design of their application, and complete data
acquisition tasks with a series of devices. The **0M Ethernet
interface is capable of simulating the latest industrial Ethernet
data acquisition environment, as well as performs standard remote
data acquisition and experiment via Ethernet.
