Property:
The anhydrous crystals of Potassium Sulfate form a double six-sided pyramid, but its crystals are in fact classified as rhombic. The Potassium Sulfate crystals are transparent, very hard and have a bitter, salty taste. Potassium Sulfate is soluble in water, but insoluble in solutions of potassium hydroxide and in absolute ethanol. It melts at ***7℃.

Usage:
Almost all of the potassium in the world is used in fertilizers. As potassium ions are a vital part of plant nutrition, crops and trees must be grown in soil with high concentrations of potassium ions. The principal use of Potassium Sulfate is as a fertilizer. Potassium Sulfate does not contain chloride, which can be harmful to some crops. Potassium Sulfate is preferred for these crops, which include tobacco and some fruits and vegetables. Crops that are less sensitive may still require Potassium Sulfate for optimal growth if the soil accumulates chloride from irrigation water.

Store Potassium Sulfate in cool, dry and ventilative places. Keep away from incompatible substance. It can not be stored together with food and feedstuff.
