Properties:
Rubber antioxidant 6PPD is taupe to brown granules, soluble in benzene, acetone, ethyl acetate, dichloromethane and methylbenzene; slightly soluble in ether; insoluble in water.
It is a greater antioxidant that resists the aging caused by ozone and oxygen, so rubber with 6PPD have the strong high-temperature resistance and flex resistance.
Applications:
Rubber antioxidant 6PPD can widely used to the manufacture of pneumatic tyre, solidtyre, conveyer belts, rubber belts, rubber tapes, cables, automobile cushion bracket, rubber slipknot and general-purpose rubber, which must have the resistance against the ozone for their continuing working condition.
It is a greater rubber antioxidant. Meanwhile, it is the stabilizing agent for the high polymer.
It has stronger antioxidantion activity than that of quinoline and p-phenylenediamine antioxidants.
Compared with rubber antioxidant ***0(IPPD), it has a longer and better effect. Because its special molecular structure and strong melting ability in rubber, it can be hardly affected by the outer environment (heat, rain and washing) and maintain its long and good effect.
