Maintenance suggestions

·        No painting required for life. However, color of the hardwood deck can be changed due to personal references. New painting will remain intact over the years. Plastic structure of the deck is waterproof and will protect the color of the surface. 

·        Oil, butter, red clay, mayonnaise or rust may stain the surface. Immediate action should be taken when the floor is exposed to these objects before stain reaches to the fibers of the wood. If immediate action has not been taken, hot water treatment with detergent or oil solvents should be applied. 

·        Hardwood floors embody anti-bacterial and anti-fungal features. Under certain climates, deck surface should be cleaned occasionally and joint spaces should be emptied of waste.

·        Always use plastic shovels to avoid scratching the surface.
