The slag remover is straw yellow granule, mainly be used to remove the unmelted matter on the surface of iron liquid, make sure the purity of iron liquid, and avoid the oxidation of iron liquid. Furthermore, it can also be used to keep iron liquid warm and push off the slag, having excellent capabilities.

Our slag remover doesn’t burst or splash, can avoid the impurity and air hole in casing parts, increase rate of finished goods and reduce cost of casting. With reasonable price and simple use method, Duratight slag remover can decrease the amount of human labor and enhance productivity.

Usage of Duratight slag remover：

1.Put  slag remover flipping or spraying into surface of the metallic solution by human force or airbrush, when removal of molten slag or keeping it warm in metallic solution. (Suggestion: Flipping regularly, in this way, can decrease the usage)When  slag remover reach to expand steadily also strongly , it will form a layer of cortex on the solution surface, which will be stick with slag, finally new slag left.

2.Removal of new slag using the appropriate toll, we can obtain a kind of clean steel solution.

3.Due to different of the solution type, such as capacity of melting furnace and purpose of usage , the amount of usage is also different. Normally the application amount for steel resolution is ranged from 0.1% to 0.3%.

4.Adding  slag remover on the bottom of casting ladle for recommended dosage before metal resolution arise water, intensity the effect of the clean function , however we suggest that you’d better not put the slag remover on the bottom of casting ladle before drawing a change, or it will influence spheroidization and gestation.
