IPQAM Modulator technology introduction
IPQAM is a multifunction device,which collects the functions of multiplexing, scrambling, modulating, and frequency converting. It multiplexes the program streams which input from IP backbones network to specified multi-service transport stream, and then go through with QAM modulation and frequency conversion, and finally output RF. The process of QAM interactive VOD business is shown as below:
Interactive data: STB access certification, transmit EPG information scanning and other data through IP network, including up data and down data.
Audio and video streams: Firstly, VOD server transfer the audio and video streams to IPQAM equipment by appropriate packing; secondly, IPQAM modulates the audio and video streams to RF signals, then transfers the RF signals to STB through HFC network; thirdly, STB modulates and decodes the audio and video streams.
IPQ***0 introduction
IPQ***0 is an IPQAM modulator with high quality which is launched by Hangzhou Dibsys. It supports VOD, unicast, broadcast, data and other business.
