Description


 
Instructions:
 

1.Brush the threads of the sink fixture with the wire brush to clear any dirt or debris.

 

2.Wind the tape starting from the bottom edge of the threads and working towards the top of the threads, overlapping each previous pass by a thread or two. Work the tape around in the direction that the sink fixture will thread on*-generally this is clockwise and keeps the tape from unwinding as the fixture is tightened.

3.Pull the tape until it breaks or use the scissors/utility knife to cut the tape, which keeps the edge clean and outstretched.


4.Tighten the sink fixture with the pipe wrench or adjustable wrench, making sure that the tape does not unwind.
