Description

Design Feature:

The casing is axially split wiht the suciton and discharge branches locatd in the lower half-this allows the complete pump rotor with bearings to be removed for maintenance without diusturbing the main pipework and valves.
The pump shaft runs in either grease or oil lubricated rolling bearings with the rotor located by the non drive end bearing which also accomodates any residual axial thrusts from the hydraulically balanced impeller.If required the radialk loads can be carrried by oil lubricated sleeve journals.Sealing of the pump shaft is effected by packed stuffing boxes or mechanical seals and the shaft sleeves fully protect the shaft in the waterway right up to the impeller hub.The shaft can be reversed to allow the pump to be driven fro meither side. Flanges are normally to DIN or ANSI standards but BS and other standards dcna be considered on request.
