Description

PVA properties:
Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) resin is a polymer. It’s usually a white or slight yellow flocculent, flake, grnular or powdery solid. Its molecular formular is (C2H4O)n. It’s non-toxic, insipid, non-polluting. PVA is a water-soluble resin and has good chemical stability. It also has good adhesion, film-forming alibility, insulation, oil resistance, abrasion resistance and gas barrier properties, and has typical chemical properties of polyols. And can make esterification, etherification, acetalation reactions.

PVA products have a wide range of uses.
***** the textile industry, they are mainly used as yarn pulp, fabric finishing agents, and raw material of vinylon fibers.

c. in the chemical industry, PVA can be used as polymerization emulsifiers, dispersants, and raw materials for the production of PVF, acetalal and butyral resins.
d. in lumbering and paper making industries, PVA can be used as adhesives.
e. in agriculture, PVA can be used as soil improvers, pesticide adhesion synergist and PVA film.
f. in petroleum exploitation, PVA can be used as well-fixed agents.
g. in addition, PVA can also be used in cosmetic, pharmaccuticals, printing, ceramics, steel, electronics, electroplating industry and so on.
