Our super high power "platinum Star" lamp is one of the highest power MR*6s available on the market today. Manufactured by Auralux lighting this model can use 4x1W with either Cree XRE Chip, Brigelux or Edison chip depending on price point. With excellent heat dissapation and giving the equivalent halogen output of a *5W halogen and **0Lumens+ its an ideal replacement for Halogen dichroics. Although many companies state they have dimmable MR*6s this is only capable on multiple lamps running off a standard electronic transformer.
