Description
Some Grinding wheels wear quite rapidly and should have their
profiles and/or cutting edges renewed with diamond dressers. CVD
Diamond dreeser has a high resistance to abrasive wear, high
thermal stability, and is chemically inert, These charactors make
it an an ideal tool material for those applications where higher
temperature operating conditions are seen, in particular, dry
machining of metal matrix composites and high volume fraction glass
fibre (or carbon) reinforced materials.
Applications
CVD diamond dresser produced by our Laboratory through DC Arc
plasma Jet is suitable for all dresser types - single point,
multipoint, blade, rotary, roller etc. The choice of the size of
dresser is determined by the application and suitable dimensions
can be recommended on request.
Tool fabrication
Our CVD diamond dresser has outstanding thermal properties and very
high thermal oxidation resistance. It is ideal for secure mounting
when using traditional non-ferrous metal sintering. Alternatively,
the CVD diamond dressers can be brazed onto a dresser body
using an active braze alloy in a non-oxidizing environment.
