The superior quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil FUENROBLE has been selected from the best oils pressed from the Picual variety olives that are grown in our olive groves located in the “Sierra de Segura” Natural Park (Jaén). This olive oil has been obtained only by mechanical means. This process is called “Cool Extraction” because it is done at a temperature lower than *5°C, which is controlled by a computer program. This product is certified by Tasting experts from the “Sierra de Segura” Regulator Council. The “Sierra de Segura” Denomination of Origin protects the production and manufacture of Extra Virgin Olive Oil that is extracted from the Picual variety of olives grown in the “Sierra de Segura” Natural Park, where olive groves and pines live together in a perfect harmony. The harvest start at the beginning of November, with the olive colour changes from green to purple, during the optimal degree of ripening (envero), finishing at the middle of December. We only use mechanical means, that permit to reach the maximun quality with the minimum damage for the fruit. This particular “Green Gold” has acidity of up to 0, 4° expressed in oleic acid.
