**4L  same as the **4 grade but contain less C to increase weld ability, and  slightly weaker than **4   used in the occasions which need welding

**6L  is added Mo(**3%), so the corrosion resistance and  heat strength is  excellent.  good working hardened ability, no magnetic used in sea and chemical equipments, and food industry.
 is an extra low carbon grade of **6.  used in stainless steel watches and marine applications. 

**1 similar to **4 but lower risk of weld decay due to addition of Ti   used  as the weld in the high temperature  

**9/**9L Ferritic stainless steel, and the cheapest type  used for automobile exhausts 

**0 martensitic stainless steel. wear-resistance, but less corrosion resistance  cutlery, machinery parts, and values 

**0J1  martensitic stainless steel. excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical ability    Turbine blades and parts for elevated-temperature use  

**0J2  high strength and hardness.  poor corrosion resistance and form ability, but good wear-resistance   cutlery, nozzle valve seats, valves, and linear scales **0 Ferritic stainless steel. Good form ability, but with reduced temperature and corrosion resistance  Daily-use durable goods, kitchen equipment, decorative articles, and architectural trimming 

**9 Ferritic stainless steel. increase Cr for improving high temperature corrosion/oxidation resistance   Used for catalytic converter exhaust sections
