The sublimation ink technology is based on the properties of some sublimation dye to sublime through heat thus permanently colouring the textile fibres or the synthetic materials they get in contact during the sublimation process. The dyes are applied printing the sublimation inks on coated paper which is, then, dried, coupled with the substrate to be decorated and finally transferred by means of a heat press. Other operations are not needed. Printing on paper allows to have extremely accurate graphic reproductions. The heat transfer can be made in a rapid way and with no difficulties at all.
