The meter operates with ultrasonic flowmeter transducers in combination with temperature sensors for measuring supply water flowrate and the temperature difference between supply water and return water, and then measure and display the heat quality either released or absorbed by the water flowing through an heat exchanger. It can execute flowrate measurement-computation-display integrated functions. Compact in size and small in power consumption (The meter can operate continuously for over *0 years with a single battery), the meter is suitable for use in residential building, district heating system and centralized air conditioning system. The meter works with ultrasonic flowrate measurement technology and remains unaffected in the presence of any magnet-induced interference and especially inthe case where the water has a high content of impurities. Furthermore, with the use of the meter, the pressure loss of pipeline can be reduced to a minimum. The meter can be mounted at any angle in either horizontal or vertical direction.
