XM**9 is a high strength and good corrosion resistant austenitic stainless steel. Its yielding strength is much better than many other austenitic stainless steel. And it has very good mechanical properties at both elevated and sub-zero temperature.
 
 
 
Application Potentials:
 
XM**9 is an effective alloy for the petroleum, petrochemical, Chemical, fertilizer, nuclear, fuel recycling, pulp and paper, textile, food processing and marine industries. Its components using the combination of excellent corrosion resistance and high strength currently include pumps, valves and fittings, fasteners, marine hardware, heat and pump shafting, heat exchanger parts, etc. equipment.
