OriSun QYKEL**0 cable is designed as motor lead extension cable applied for electruc submersible pumping units to link the power from motor to the main power cable. The motor lead extension cable, also referred to as teh motor flst, is a sepcially constructed, low -profile, flat cable. It is spliced to the lower end of the round or flat main power cable, banded to the side of the ESP pump and seal chamber section. Male termination (pothead) needs to be applied at the end of this cable for plugging or splicing into the motor electrical connection. Because of its need for low profile, it requires compact construction. It generally has a thin layer of high-dielectric-strength polyamide material wrapped or bounded directly to the copper conductor. This allows for a thnner layer of insulation material, allowing for a lower profile. The MLE is generally selected on the basis of equipment: casing clearance and teh voltage capacity requirement.

 

OriSun QYKEL**0 is rated for service from **0F (**0C) to **0F (**2C), which is a premium cable for wells with higher tempreture requirements. Motor lead cables have three layers of polyimide half-lapped and heat sealed film directly over the conductor. This polyimide film has a very high dielectric integrity. Monel, stainless steel or galvanized steel armor provides an overall protection for these cables. Cable protectors are recommended to be used for highly deviated wells or wells with a minmal clearance.
