Ambient air contains *1% oxygen, *8% nitrogen, 0.9% Argon and 0.1% other gases. ASPE Inc. Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) oxygen generators utilize Zeolite Molecular Sieve (ZMS) to separate oxygen from air, which adsorbs nitrogen from compressed air using air compressor and desorbs it at atmospheric pressure. ASPE Inc. PSA oxygen generators contain two adsorbent vessels. When the first vessel produces oxygen gas, the second vessel proceeds with desorption process for production. This process consists of Pressurization, Production, Purge, Equilibrium of pressure and Desorption and continually repeats for oxygen production.
