Niclosamide Description

Niclosamide (CAS No. 50-65-7) and Niclosamide-olamine (CAS No.1420-04-8) are molluscicides with respiratory and stomach action.
Nanjing Essence supply the following formulations of Niclosamide: 98%TC, 25%EC, 1%SO; and formulations of Niclosamide-olamine: 98%TC, 30%SC, 70%WP.
Design of packaging and label can be customized from 10mL to 200L for liquids, 1g to 25Kg for solid.
 

Niclosamide Biochemistry 
Affects respiration, probably by inhibiting oxygen uptake, and carbohydrate metabolism.
 

Niclosamide Mode of action 
Molluscicide with respiratory and stomach action.

Niclosamide Applications
Control of golden apple snail (Pomacea canaliculata) in rice, at 0.25–1.5 kg/ha. Control of schistosomiasis and fascioliasis in man by killing fresh-water snails which act as intermediate hosts. Also used for veterinary control of tapeworm infestations.
 

Niclosamide Compatibility 
Incompatible with acidic materials.
