The MP***0 series access core aggregation router facilitates both large-scale and small-scale WAN aggregation and uplink. The router provides large-scale Internet access platform including MP***4 and MP***8 models. The two models separately comprise four and eight MIMs, support **-port E1 interfaces with packet-forwarding capability between 1.5 to 2.2Mpps. The MP***0 series router design bases on the complete network investment protection theory and provides complete network investment protection. The router provides robust aggregation capability satisfying the client application requirement. The router adopts modular design, integrates 3GE optical/electric Ethernet interfaces, which utilize MIM saving the client investment. The MyPower-R software provides network and link protocols, routing and backup protocols, network security service, IP multi-cast protocol, SNA/DLSw function, QoS features and network management protocol. The software supports BGP edge gateway protocol and MPLS, which can be used as PE node and P node.
