Ecological Carbon Fiber

The ecological fiber is a new packing which composites acrylic, polypropylene, and surface modified activated carbon fiber, has the advantages of large surface area, strong adsorption, desorption performance, good compatibility with live beings. Based on the high strength biological carbon fibers, do the surface treatment to enhance the biocompatibility. Carbon fiber with low surface energy, surface hydrophobicity and poor wetting of water quality; but after surface modification treatment, the surface oxygen-containing functional groups increasing, increased surface energy, improved wettability with water, wrapping angle getting smaller, and the surface is hydrophilic.

Application Field;

With wealth micro-pore structure and wide range of pore size distribution, the carbon fiber has specific large surface area, normally more than ***0 square meters/g, having greater adsorption capacity. The micro-pore spreads over the fiber’s surface, thus the adsorbate diffusion path& time is shorten, adsorption and regeneration’s speed is fast, which will regeneration in milder conditions.
