The water source has been tracked and analysis concludes that the water has passed through volcanic rock.  Carbon dating suggests this to be one the purest water supplies in the world and with the primary source at least 1,**0 years old with evidence to show the water has not previously seen teh light of day in that entire time.  The water passes beneath the largest stand of grawing Kauri trees.
