Its diameter is approximately 1.5 - 2.5 cm and it weighs between 5 and 7g. The fruit is made up of a large number of small yellow edible seeds. They are covered with small leaves that dry as the fruit ripens and provide a natural form of protection to keep the fruit healthy. Their flavor is sweet and sour, pleasant and intense.
