The Brunswick GS series of pinsetter consists of several models of pinsetters that have changed to meet the needs of the proprietor, mechanic and bowler. In ***7, Brunswick introduced the GS**8 Pinsetter. It is controlled and operated by a new consolidated electronic system which uses a two control box system to reduce the number of printed circuit boards needed to operate the pinsetter. Also, software and hardware improvements have made the GS**8 Pinsetter more efficient and user friendly. And of course after that is the GSX, which was introduced in '*9 or ***0 and become the most reliable pinsetters ever.
After *0 years, AMF bowling pinspotters still outperform any other machine in the world. Setting the standard in the bowling industry, well-maintained ****0XLs achieve over 1,**0 frames per stop in highline age operations. And there are thousands of AMF pinspotters in operation today that are more than *0 years old. No other manufacturer has even one pinspotter that old.
