1)Auto dimming rear mirrors are automotive safety equipments. In
several years, this equipments will be popularized gradually from
high-end car models to middle grade models, which also brings
forth a big room for market growth.
2)Tintable Company’s core technology is based on thin film all-solid-state electrolyte, which is quite different from Gentex’s liquid/gel state technology. We own different manufacturing process. There is no trouble in liquid leakage.
3) Liquid state based technology would highly possiblly infringe Gentex’s patent. Only solid state based technology is the other solution.
4)When mirrors are broken, Tintable’s invented solid state
auto-dimming mirror could effectively avoid glass fragments’
possible damages to drivers.
