Insulation of tanks is one of the important types of waterproofing which is necessary to be used. The engineering company provides the service of isolating the tanks. The insulation of the tanks is divided into two parts according to the status of the structural element:

Positive water insulation

This insulation is done by using an insulating material on the wall of the water tank from inside, preventing water leakage. Positive insulation is called because the insulation layer prevents leaking water from penetrating the structural foundations of the wall to maintain it.

Passive water insulation

We resort to this type of insulation when a leak actually occurs from or to the reservoir, and resort to the external insulation of the tank when difficult to isolate from the inside, and certainly, positive insulation is better because it protects the reservoir from leaking.
