this tester use the magnetic control discharging method to
test the vacuum degree of the arc extinguish chamber. Pull
the two contactors of the vacuum switch arc extinguishing chamber
for a certain distance, impose the impulse high voltage, place the
new type magnetic exciting coil outside of the arc extinguishing
chamber, make the coil put through the large current, then produce
the synchronous impulse magnetic
field. Therefore,under the effect of the strong impulse megnetic
field and the strong electrical field, the ions in the chamber
rotate and collide with the remaining gas molecule; the
produced ion current form the rate relations the remaining gas
density i.e. vaccum degree. For various vacuum
tube types, since various structures, the ion current is
different even under the same cotactor distance, same vacuum
degreem same electrical field and magnetic field. Through the test,
the corresponding relations curves bewteen the vacuum degree
of various vacuum tubes and the ion curren can be defined, When the
ion current is tested, the vaccum degree of a certain type of tube
can obtained by checking the ion current of that type
tube.
