Blending ingredients with high powered blenders can get tricky some times. You could get stuck. Then what? Use your hand or a fork? What if you touch that blade when it turns, or your fork...? It's dangerous.

Some blender companies like Vitamix and JTC Omniblend or Montel offer their blenders with tamper sticks, aka accelerator tools. Vitamix calls it accelerator tool because it is supposed to accelerate the blending process. Blendtec says their blenders are so great, so no tamper may be needed. And yet, we get phone calls all the time from Blendtec blender users who require a tamper dowel stirring stick plunger, name it what you will.

So Alterna Jars and Blades (akd 123Vita LLC) came out with a patented and trademarked Universal Tamper, a tamper stick that is adjustable and can be modified so it fits just about any blender jar. Measure, adjust, insert through lid, blend, enjoy.... that is basically it.
