Mokorotlo is the rare antique hand woven traditional Basotho hat. It is a popular traditional hat, (hand woven from grass), which is mainly associated with (symbolises) the culture of Basotho in Africa. It is named after the song (Mokorotlo) that men used to sing while wearing these hats, on their way to the chief's court. It is mostly conical in shape and come in a variety of designs. The hat remains one of the major tourist attraction and because of its uniqueness, it remains a must get, especially because it can be used for various purposes, such as gifts, souveniers, decorations, special functions, to name but few.
