Tinted float glass Introduction
Leader tinted & clear float glass is manufactured by adding small amount of colorants such as iron oxide, cobalt oxide or selenium into the batch. Compared with clear float glass, the body-tinted glass absorbs more solar radiation than clear float glass, and reduces the transmission of infrared, visible and ultraviolet light rays. As a result, the energy efficiency of air-conditioning equipment for a building glazed with tinted glass can be improved.
