Taiwan New Chemical Substance Registration and GHS SDS, Safety Label

Taiwan several new managements on chemicals are implemented in ***5 as following:
 
1. The Regulation of New Chemical Substances Registration from Jan. 1st of ***5, new chemicals shall be registered before they can be manufactured imported to Taiwan;
2. The Regulation of Existing Chemical Substance Registration manufacturer and importers of existing chemical substances should make registration before March *1st of ***6;
3. The Regulation of Designation and Handling Permission of Controlled Chemicals *- Manufacturers, importers, suppliers, or employers shall not manufacture, import, supply, or provide for workers to handle or use controlled chemicals that are designated by Taiwan government.
4. The Regulation of Specification and Handling Management of Priority Management Chemicals - Manufacturers, importers, suppliers, or employers shall report relevant handling information for priority management chemicals specified by Taiwan government for reference annually;
5. Previously published GHS Regulation: The Regulation of Labelling and Hazard (i.e. GHS regulation, published on July 3rd of ***4).
6. Taiwan Regulation of New and Existing Chemical Substances Registration is effective from Dec. *1th of ***4. Its Article *6 rules that for a chemical substance that is manufactured or imported before the data and is not included on the inventory of existing chemical substances, documents can be submitted to Taiwan EPA before March *1st of ***5 so to manage these chemical substances as Existing Chemical Substance.
