Cnhybond**4 primer developed from our company is a kind of clear light brown liquid. It can be used to promote adhesion of double sided adhesive to surfaces such EPDM, TPU, PVC, polyethylene, polypropylene, ABS, PET/PBT blends, concrete, wood, glass, metal and painted metal surfaces, especially with Acrylic Foam(VHB) tapes, the bonding effect will be better. Tape primer *44 is an adhesion promoter for use in conjunction with automotive restyling vinyl, vehicle graphics and wraps. Help protect vinyl against lifting when used for vehicle graphics,stripes and wraps.

It can replace 3M *4,3M K***0/K***0,3M ***8UV, 3M AP**1, 3M ***9 Tape primer/adhesion promoter.
 
Application: Primer **4 is use to improve vinyl adhesion where vinyl will be stretched or heated into concave area. For best results apply a thin layer of primer *44 over most of the concave area. For convex area apply a thin layer at outer edges of the curve to prevent the film edge, lifting. Great for use on complex vehicle contours. Work with all brands of vinyl.

Application Techniques
Surface preparation:
The bonding surface must be relatively clean and dry.Contaminated surfaces should be cleaned with a *0/*0 Isopropyl Alcohol and water mixture,A clean lint-free cloth should be used.
Application: Shake CNHYBOND **4 primer well before using:
1. Apply a thin uniform coating to the bonding surface using the minimum amount that will fully coat the surface, allow cnhybond **4 primer to dry thoroughly before applying tape. This is usually accomplished in 5 minutes at room temperature, Be sure the primed surface remains free from contaminants prior to applying the tape. Porous surfaces may require 2 application of CNHYBOND **4 primer for uniform coverage and good adhesion..
2. Allow first application of primer to dry before applying the second coat, CNHYBOND primer **4 may be applied with brush or swab, It can also be applied with a pressurized flow gun, knurled roller or other similar type of application equipment
