In comparison tests with other grinding media like cylpebs, boulpebs or low chromium cast balls it could be proofed, that in the total cost-calculation of the mill process, the forged steel grinding balls have shown a considerably better result. Suizhou Gaincin Machinery forged steel grinding balls are produced with following average chemical composition: C:0.***1.*0%; Mn:0.***1.*0%;Si:0.***1.*0%;Cr:max.1.*0%;Cu:max.0.*0%; Mo:max. 0.*0%; Ni:max.0.*0% S&P: max.0.*5%. Due to the automatized tempering technology for our forged steel grinding balls, we achieve an optimal wear resistance with maximum breakage resistance. Based on a high resistant martensite structure from the heat treatment process, the balls have an extreme high wear resistance for the roll-grinding and also for the cataract process in the mill.

The second positive effect due to the constant tempering process is the roundness of the grinding ball during its lifetime in the grinding process.
