• WHAT IS AU-PEA**0?

  AU-PEA**0 is a amylase based starch conversion enzyme derived from the submerged fermentation of Bacillus subtilis. It is mainly used in the pulp and paper making industry as a starch modifying agent and is applicable to various kinds of paper pulp. Most surface sizing agents in paper making today are usually oxidized starch. The main disadvantage of traditional method of modifying oxidized-starch are high cost, difficultiy in controlling oxidation and environment pollution among others.

• APPLICATION & DOSAGE:

  Add AU-PEA**0 at the rate of 0.**0.5 U/g together with calcium (Ca2+) at a concentration of *0ppm to *0ppm. However, for best results, the dosage should be determined and decided through experiments according to the real objective conditions.

• PACKAGING:

  AU-PEA**0 is packaged at *5 kg. in fibre drum. Alternative packaging for smaller or larger quantity is available upon request.

• STORAGE:

  Store in a cool, dry place and away from direct sunlight. Storage at *5°C maintains its potency even after three months. In lower temperature, the activity of the product will last even longer. It should not however be frozen. Keep out of reach of children.

• HANDLING:

  AU-PEA**0 is non-toxic and biodegradable. However, unnecessary contact with the product should be avoided. Long term exposure to protein based products such as AU-PEA**0 may cause reaction in individuals sensitive to the product. Wash hands with soapy water after handling.
