Mechanical disc brake is more durable than hydraulic disc brake. Despite the problems that temperature causes to oil seal, mechanical disc brake is very much easier and cheaper to retain or repair. However, there is a weakness of the mechanical disc brakes sold in the market: they don't have double-activating pistons, a nice way to prevent the rotor from deforming, as the hydraulic disc brakes have. To this extent, we created a unique double-activating mechanical disc brake, DTR. It still preserves the same features of mechanical disc brakes: durability, toughness, setting up easily, and the ability to adapt different kinds of climates. DTR has the same braking ability of hydraulic disc brakes with better stability.
