This is a standard combination *-layer sintered wire mesh which has the widest application. 5 different layers of stainless steel wire mesh are combined, then sintered together through vacuum sintering, compression, and stamping, forming a porous product.
This sintered wire mesh can be made with nominal filter ratings ranging from 1 micron to **0 microns. It also maintains a steady filter rating, due to the protective layers and sintering technology used to create it.
Type B Sintered Wire Mesh
This type of sintered wire mesh is made from several layers of square woven wire mesh sintered together. Due to the high porosity of the woven wire mesh, this type has good permeability, low resistance, and high circulation. It is mainly used in the filtration of air and liquids. As there is a wide selection of support layers, this sintered wire mesh can be easily customized to fit customers needs.
Type C Sintered Wire Mesh
This type of sintered wire mesh is made from perforated metal sintered together with several layers of wire mesh. Due to the support of the perforated metal, this type of sintered wire mesh has higher resistance to pressure and higher mechanical strength.
Type D Sintered Wire Mesh
This type of sintered wire mesh is made from 2 to 3 layers of plain dutch weaves sintered together through vacuum sintering and stamping. This type of sintered wire mesh has the advantageous characteristics of proportionately spaced holes and good permeability.
