OriSun manufactures and stocks high strength Monel **0 bar materials available with diameter from *2 to *0 mm, up to length of 9 meters.
 
Monel nickel-copper alloy **0 is a solid-solution alloy that can be hardened only by cold working. It has high strength and toughness over a wide temperature range and excellent resistance to many corrosive environments. The alloy has been used in a variety of applications. It has excellent resistance to rapidly flowing brackish water or seawater. It is particularly resistant to hydrochloric and hydrofluoric acids when they are de-aerated. The alloy is slightly magnetic at room temperature. Monel **0 is widely used in the chemical, oil and marine industries.

 Monel **0 shows high strength and excellent corrosion resistance in a range of acidic and alkaline environments and especially suitable for reducing conditions. It also has good ductility and thermal conductivity. Monel **0 typically finds application in: marine engineering, chemical and hydro-carbon processings, heat exchangers, valves and pumps.
 
It is covered by the following standards: BS ***5, ***6 NA *3, DTD **4B and ASTM B**4.
Large use of Monel **0 is made in the alkylation units, namely in the reacting section in contact with concentrated hydrofluoric acid.
