LW*5 series SF6 circuit breakers are independently developed by Pinggao Group, they are designed with latest development of self-energizing theory that the arc generated in the chamber is distinguished at a specified time with a part of energy from the arc itself. The arcing chamber of LW*5 is so constructed on the basis of resent research of electric and gas flow field that high arc quenching efficiency and operation reliability is achieved. The force needed outside for breaking operation of the circuit breaker is greatly reduced for the arc itself contributes one part of energy used for arc clearance, and application of compact spring operating mechanism becomes reality.
