Self Clinching Nuts provide a strong reusable female thread in
panels that are too thin to be conventionally tapped. They have
excellent torque out and push out characteristics.
The Installation is neat and easy. They can be iinstalled by
placing them in properly sized holes in sheets and applying a
parallel squeezing force to the head of the nut. The sheet metal
surrounding the head cold flows into an undercut thereby making
the nuts an integral part of the sheet. A serrated clinching ring
prevents the nuts from rotating after installation.
