The berries of sea-buckthorn are actually priceless: they contain the vitamin A (to *0, 9 mg) and vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6, C, E, K and others. In berries there is sugar (to **6%), organic acids (to 2, 5 %), tannic substances, yellow pigment of Quercetinum, and fat oil (9% in pulp and *2 % in stones). Exactly this oil is accumulated in berries and is considered the most secret of sea-buckthorn! It consists of triadic glycerin and the saturated and non-saturated fat acids, mono essential acids (palm olein, olein) prevail among the last; it also contains pectin substances, phlavonids, nicotinic and folic acids, macro- and microelements (coniferous forest, iron, zinc, copper, manganese, potassium, calcium) and some types of vegetable antibiotics.

Oil of sea-buckthorn berries has anti-inflammatory, regenerating and bio-stimulant actions. Therefore it is irreplaceable at burns and other damages of skin. The characteristic feature of this oil is high quality of healing in place of damage of any scars. It is appointed to accept inwardly after operations on a gullet stomach with the aim of acceleration of healing of postoperative defects and guy-sutures, and also as a preventive for reduction of degenerative processes of mucous membrane of gullet.
