As a part of sapropel there are all nutrients necessary for growth and development of plants. The optimum biological parity of nutrients excludes "reforage" or "unforage" of plants, therefore sapropel overdoses are not terrible. Because of the big maintenance of soluble calcium (CaCo3 to *8 %) sapropel is recommended to be brought in the autumn or in the spring under ploughing in a dose from 3 to 5 kg on ***** as land-reclamation for neutralisation of superfluous acidity of soil.
