I. Product Introduction

Our **2 / **5 CONVERTER is a converter of two-way interface between RS**2 and RS**5, applied between the master controller and point-to-point and remote multi-computer communication network, widely used in industrial automation control system, card, access control system, parking system, self-service banking system, bus charging system, dining hall meal sales system, company staff attendance management system, highway toll station system, etc.

Our **2 / **5 CONVERTER is able to convert the TXD and RXD signals from the RS**2 serial port into two-line balanced half-duplex RS**5 signals. Without external power supply, the signal pin directly from the RS**2 port, hardware and installation use is very simple.

III. Wiring mode

1, device GND, RX, TX is connected to GND, TX, RX at RS**2 end, namely, device GND is connected to RS**2 end GND, device TX is connected to RS**2 end RX, and device RX is connected to RS**2 end TX.

2, devices D + and D-are connected to RS***-end A + and B-respectively.

IV. Failure analysis

The 1, Data Communication is not successful:

A, detects whether the RS**2 interface connection is correct;

B, detects whether the RS**5 interface connection is correct;

The C, detects whether the signal level difference of the RS**2 interface is less than 5V;

2, data loss or confusion:

A, detects whether the data rate and format of the two segments of the data communication equipment are consistent;

The B, can add a matching resistance of 1 / 4W **0 Ω.
