At present, there are many wire rope structures used in rotary drilling rigs in the market. Ordinary round-strand rotation resistance wire ropes mainly include *8×7, *4W×7, and *5W×7; compacted strand rotation resistance wire ropes mainly include *8×K7. , *5W×K7, *5×K7 etc.

In recent years, *5W×K7 type and *5×K7 type steel wire ropes have been applied to rotary drilling rig in relatively large quantities, especially these two types of RHLL & LHLL wire ropes are widely used in the market, accounting for more than *0% .
