Feature and Application
SYX rod ends consist of an eye-shaped head with integral shank
which forms a housing for a standard spherical plain bearing. As a
rule, rod ends are available with left or right-hand female
(internal) or male (external) threads.
SYX maintenance-free rod ends have special sliding layers of modern
dry sliding materials characterised by low friction. They find
application above all where long service lives are required without
maintenance. Primarily, however, they are intended for applications
where the load acts in a constant direction.
