Production Principle and Application of Precipitation
Silica
The
chemical formula of white carbon black is SiO2nH2O. Because its use
is similar to that of carbon black and white, it is named white
carbon black. White
carbon
black can be divided into precipitated white carbon black
(precipitated hydrated silica) and white carbon black (gas phase
silica) according to the different
production methods. The production methods of the
two products are different, and the properties and uses are also
very different. Gas phase method
production
is
mainly the use of Silicon tetrachloride and air combustion of
silica, fine particles, the median particle size can reach 5
microns or less. The precipitation
method
is to
use sodium silicate to add sulfuric acid to precipitate silica. The
median particle size is about ***2 microns. Gas phase method white
carbon black is
expensive, it is not easy to absorb moisture, and
it is more used as a dimmer in paint. The precipitation method is
cheap and easy to absorb moisture, mainly
used
in
rubber, plastic products as filling, reinforcing agent. The

precipitation, that is, white carbon

main uses of white carbon black by
precipitation
Since

in the pharmaceutical

Tire industry
The

safety(improve moisture resistance) and reduce fuel
consumption(reduce rolling resistance).
In
addition, the precipitation method is used in the tire body and

carbon
black part with the White carbon in the tire side glue can greatly
improve the durability of the rubber, improve the flexor resistance
and impact resistance.

Rubber shoes and other rubber
products

improve the
comprehensive physical properties of the adhesive.
Therefore, white carbon black is widely used in rubber shoe
production as the main filling agent, especially

transparent and translucent
soles.

carbon black. Silicon rubber has high heat resistance and excellent
cold resistance, ozone
resistance, aging resistance and atmospheric aging

silicone
rubber, it is widely used in aerospace and
electronics industries. Gas phase white carbon black is expensive,
replacing gas phase white carbon black with
relatively
cheap
precipitation white carbon black, which can be used for the
production of low-grade Silicon rubber.
4). The pharmaceutical
industry
White
carbon black has physiological inertia, high absorption,
dispersion, and thickening, and has been widely used in
pharmaceutical preparations. For
example,
quasi-prime E powder now uses white carbon black
as a carrier.
5).
Pesticide industry
White
carbon black is mainly used as a carrier in the pesticide industry
to increase liquidity and prevent agglomeration. At present, white
carbon black is mainly
used
in various types of wettable powders.
6). In
the application of ink
White
carbon black in the ink mainly plays a thickening role, used to
control the flow of printing ink. It is also used to control the
flow of printer ink so that it cannot
flow
or hang freely to obtain clear printing.
