Power catwalk is composed of main engine, hydraulic station and control system. It is installed on the base of the rig through the ramp, and the hoisting winch drives the conveying frame. The operation of pipe string on and off the rig floor is completed through wireless remote control or control panel.
Its main function is to realize the transmission of drill pipe, drill collar, casing and other pipe strings between the ground platform and the drill floor.
The overall structure scheme of winch lifting is adopted, which is composed of two parts: main engine and hydraulic power station.
The integrated structure design of the main engine is convenient for installation and transportation: the ramp of the power catwalk can be folded and placed on the base, saving transportation costs and improving work efficiency.
The conveyor frame is flush with the base after returning, which is convenient for the installation of drilling and logging instruments.
The power catwalk base gripper grabs the pipe string from the support leg pipe rack. The support leg, base and conveying frame are located in one plane, easy to operate.
With automatic function, can be realized on the drilling tool, swinging the drilling tool one operation.
Equipped with heater and air cooling device, can automatically open or close according to the set temperature, to ensure the stable operation of the hydraulic system.
